Factories and Products:

AKIN produces hot rolled-carbon steel profiles, called under the name “Merchant Bars” or “Commercial Steel”. 3 seperate rolling mills provide flexible production of Equal Angles, Flats, Squares and T-Bars with a wide product range of 70 different dimensions. Packaging is possible in lenghts varying from 3 meters to 12 meters.

Quality & Standarts

As per customer requests, AKIN can produce using different quality steel billets in accordance with TS, DIN, ASTM, and other standarts plus special customer requests.

Turkish Standards Institution approved products and soon to be gained ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Systems certificate are some of the ways of AKIN’s quality assurance.

AKIN HADDECİLİK, based in Denizli/TURKEY, is specialized in producing hot rolled, fine section Merchant Bars and is one of the leading mills of the country.  Founded in 1988, AKIN currently sits on 15,000 m² of closed factory area with 3 mills and 80,000 metric tons of yearly production capacity.  It will soon reach a total capacity of 200,000 metric tons per annum by embracing a new factory based on a 20,000 m² land in Aliağa region with 120,000 tons/year.

Our company aims to serve as a ‘metal market’ for its customers where they can supply all their needs of Merchant Bars from one place. The main product groups that are kept ready in stock includes: T Bars, Flats, Squares, Equal Angles, UPN and IPN Channels. In addition to the wide product range, flexible design of the mills lets the company to meet changing customer demands in short time periods.
